That day proved to be one of the coldest ones that week, but our small team of photographers and our models braved the frigid temperatures to give us this beautiful styled shoot. One of our styled shoots featuring Amanda, our model, in a gorgeous fur coat was my favorite one. I can’t lie, there is nothing more fabulous than a fur coat. Why Should I attend Wedding Photography Workshops? || Fredericksburg VA Wedding Photographer

Back 2 years ago when I started my wedding photography business by accident, I wish I would do it earlier. After photographing a first wedding, I was in love with the workflow and the photos. I mostly shot family, children and newborns before 2014 and had never attended any photography workshop but online classes.

I’ve seen and read so many people grow at workshops which I think this should be one of important things to invest in wedding industry. In 2014 before I shot my first time wedding, I signed up for a CLIC conference/workshop that I believe was the best investment so far. Apart from learning so much about the wedding business from some creatives, I also loved meeting and learning from the group of different photographers. The styling, instruction and general overall flow of the workshop was all amazing! Enjoy the pictures..

Beat the Winter Blues with Beauty Shoot (part two) || Fredericksburg Portrait Photographer

Continuing from my blog post part 1 with a blue-color-themed winter styled shoot, the outfits from the images here are bursting with a beautiful red color. I always love the pop of red against the snow. As one of my favorite colors, red is the color of energy and the symbol of life. It also evokes strength, power, and creates a visual impact. People tend to look more happier and attractive by wearing red.

Thank you again to my fellow photographers, models and friends who made this winter styled shoot possible. I look forward to working again with all of you. You guys really put your hearts and souls into this shoot.

Beat the Winter Blues with Beauty Shoot (part one) || Fredericksburg Portrait Photographer

Winter is generally regarded as the slowest season for photographers. For many of us, that is such a great time to rest and recharge, the time to update the website and set new goals. Some of us probably tend to have the winter blues as our mood rises and drops with the temperature. When other fellow photographers happen to be available, why not we plan a styled shoot together. This should be one of great ways to beat this winter blues and to boost our mood and our creative spark.

We then spontaneously styled a lovely shoot in the winter wonderland with just simple and elegant touches. For this part 1, I highlight here all blue/grey-color -themed style shoots that look elegant and fit good on Emily and Sarah (they were such troopers, brave the cold). Snowy Winter Bridal Styled Shoot || Fredericksburg Wedding Photographer

Yes I had dreamed about doing an outdoor snowy winter styled shoot one for some time and was very excited to make it happen. With the help of several photographer friends, we styled a snowy winter styled shoot to show how the simple touches and the beautiful snow can create an elegant and stunning setting. This experience has been nothing short of inspirational. Thank you to Ally, our gorgeous model and the rest of the team involved!

Pursuit Community Fredericksburg VA Styled Shoot | Letters To Romeo

Last November, our monthly Pursuit group meeting was about a styled shoot inspired by Letters to Romeo. I was glad I got the opportunity to be a part of this styled shoot. For those of you who doesn’t know yet, Pursuit Community is a group of Christian creative/talented women. I’m so grateful to be part of this group and love learning something new from our monthly meeting.
