Soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus || Occoquan Engagement

When Mr. W gave me a call and asked if I could help him in his plans to photograph his surprise proposal to his girlfriend Ms. V, I was more than willing to help. He came up with a plan to make it seem like I was going to be there for their family holiday photo shoot.

Dressed as Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus and their Elves, the photo shoot begun with the family paddleboarding around Occoquan river. Just when they were in the middle of fun, I saw Mr. W approached her to be close to each other and got down on one knee (yes, on his paddle-board). I kept snapping their moment furiously and didn’t want to miss their special moment. From the whole scene photos, you’d see how Ms. V was completely surprised and had absolutely no idea but she looked quite happy at the same time.

After the proposal, we spent the rest of the available sunlight taking more family and engagement photos. I feel honored to have been a part of their engagement story. There is no doubt in my mind that they have a beautiful life together right in front of them. Congratulations you guys!

The ring was tied up  with a piece of string to prevent the risk of falling in the water.

Pursuit Community Fredericksburg VA Styled Shoot | Letters To Romeo

Last November, our monthly Pursuit group meeting was about a styled shoot inspired by Letters to Romeo. I was glad I got the opportunity to be a part of this styled shoot. For those of you who doesn’t know yet, Pursuit Community is a group of Christian creative/talented women. I’m so grateful to be part of this group and love learning something new from our monthly meeting. Thank you so much Brandilynn Aines & Lacoya Heggie (the co-leaders of the Pursuit Fredericksburg Group) for your hard work to put this styled shoot together. You ladies were amazing!
